Please note, we try our best on every single job to meet the deadline set at the beginning of the repair. However, due to the current business climate, D&S Automotive, along with everyone in the industry, is facing an increasing number of delays in parts. Our goal is always to clearly set expectations up front so that you can make an educated decision about where to have your vehicle repaired, and we will continue to do so. However, please understand some factors are unknown until the repair begins and out of our control.
As an industry we are facing the following challenges:
- The chip shortage is causing automotive manufacturers to scale back production, this also includes parts and shipping.
- The chip shortage is also directly effecting the availability of electronics such as airbag modules.
- The labor shortage in warehouses and shipping facilities is causing an environment where tracking and ETA’s are limited.
We understand that being without your car is stressful and we are committed to getting you back on the road as soon as we can with the resources we have.
