D&S Automotive Collision & Restyling is opening a new location in the Chardon community this fall. Currently under construction, the new facility will be located at 540 Fifth Avenue. 
A native of Chardon, D&S Vice President, CJ Paterniti, is excited to expand his family’s business in the community in which he grew up.
“The reason D&S has been successful at our other locations is because we’ve always supported the communities,” Paterniti said. “I grew up in Chardon, I’m raising my own family in Chardon, and now I want to be able to support the community that supported me.”
The Chardon facility will be D&S’ third collision repair center, in addition to its two locations in Mentor and Euclid. The new facility will perform collision repair only; accessory sales and installations will continue in Mentor.
CJ hopes that expanding to an untapped market in Chardon will be the first of many new opportunities for the local body shop that his father, Carmen Paterniti, opened over 30 years ago.
“We have a good name, but our brand still has a long way to go,” CJ said. “I’m just trying to follow in my father’s footsteps.”
