November 9, 2017 – Today marked Progressive’s fifth year honoring veterans through their Keys to Progress Program. The Keys to Progress Program utilizes local resources and businesses to give the keys to newly-refurbished vehicles to deserving veterans and their families. In addition to all of the organizations that teamed up this year to award local veterans with a car, such as Progressive Insurance, National Auto Body Council, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Veracity Research Co. Investigations, Copart, Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc, and 1-800-Charity Cars, D&S Automotive was proud to have the opportunity to refurbish the vehicle for one of the Cleveland veterans, Orval, and his family.
Over the span of 5 years, Keys to Progress has provided more than 500 vehicles to veterans and veterans organizations. From military men and women with difficult personal, family and health problems, to those dealing with excessive financial burdens, homelessness, or unemployment, the program’s goal is to give back to people who’ve already given so much for our country. Vehicles provide so much more than convenient transportation, they provide freedom- freedom to go where you want, when you want and with whom you want. We, at D&S Automotive, were so happy to be a part of this year’s Cleveland giveaway.
