We are proud to announce that D&S Automotive Collision and Restyling was presented the “2015 Distinguished Small Business Award” by the Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce (WWLCCC) at their Annual Luncheon and Awards Ceremony on January 23.
Each year, the WWLCCC presents the Distinguished Small Business Award to the local business who goes above and beyond in the areas of accomplishments, leadership, and civic involvement. A mainstay in Mentor and its surrounding communities, D&S Automotive has exemplified such esteemed qualities since it first opened in 1977.
“Getting this award in this town, it’s been a good feeling for me,” owner Carmen Paterniti said. “I want to say a big thank you to the Chamber board and the community.”
Under the leadership and perseverance of Mr. Paterniti, the former van-conversion shop on Tyler Boulevard has blossomed over the past 37 years. Today, D&S has two locations in both Mentor and Euclid, with a third opening in Chardon in the fall of 2015.
Whether it is repair work, a restyling project, or community involvement, D&S strives to provide quality service to valued customers.
“I feel really proud that you thought that much of me and my business,” Paterniti said. “I appreciate this very much.”
With the help of his sons and loyal D&S employees, Mr. Paterniti plans to continue to grow his business and to continue to live up to the standards of Willoughby Western Lake County’s “Distinguished Small Business.”
The Distinguished Small Business Award was one of four awards presented at the Chamber’s luncheon. Other Distinguished Award winners included The Holden Arbotetum/Cleveland Botanical Garden, Brandt’s Candies and Robert Fiala of tda Architecure. D&S Automotive would like to congratulate all the other award winners from the event!
*Paterniti and D&S Automotive were also voted the 2014 Entrepreneur of the Year by the Lake-Geauga Fast Track 50.
